Mercek is a city platform where residents can follow local developments, make urban issues more visible and participate in solution-oriented conversations. City and district filters, maps, discovery and topic feeds help people understand what is happening around them.
The interface organises dense urban information into readable cards, geographic layers and clear filters. Visitor mode lowers the barrier to discovery, while active participation, moderation, privacy and notification controls support a trustworthy community product.
The project shows how maps, local content, membership, reporting and administration can be integrated for municipalities, civic initiatives and city-focused media products. MG Work Studio supports similar urban technology projects from research and interface design to engineering and post-launch measurement.
